Tri-County Cruisers to present 12^th Annual Scholarship Award

Years ago, the club saw the need to close the gap between the old-time car buffs and the upcoming generation of auto enthusiasts. Being a Wayne-based club, it was decided that we would offer scholarship money to a deserving high school student in the Wayne Automotive Program, who is going on to pursue a secondary education for a career in the automotive field. Students in the program can apply for the scholarship that is awarded based on the students future education plans, automotive experience, grades, extracurricular activities and community involvement.

The Wayne Automotive Program from both Wayne Valley and Wayne Hills high schools runs an annual car show to showcase the program’s accomplishments for the year. The event includes hundreds of vehicles as well as automotive related displays and demonstrations.

This year’s show and scholarship presentation will take place on
Wednesday, May 24th, at the Wayne Hills High School campus.
